BY AIR: Nearest airport: Madurai 120 kms. BY RAIL: Nearest Railhead: Kodaikanal Road (80 Kms). BY ROAD: Kodaikanal is well connected by road to Madras, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Tiruchirapally. TAXIS are available from the airport. Please book taxi while in the airport terminal. Foreigners are not advised to drive in India. Therefore, all car hire comes with a chauffeur included in the price. Car hire prices are very reasonable.
