Hondaafushi is a lifestyle brand in Haa Dhaalu Atoll, covering a land area of approximately 59 hectares. It takes around 20 minutes by speed boat (Dhoni) from Hanimaadhoo Airport. H.Dh Atoll is among the most beautiful atolls in the Maldives, known for its rich marine life and natural scenery. You can explore the marine life, including gem-shaded coral and astonishing tropical fish, nestled in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldivian Sea. You can choose from various water activities, such as sailboat cruising, windsurfing, snorkeling, and diving. A dartboard, table tennis court, and exercise center are also available. Due to ongoing renovations at Hanimaadhoo Airport, some flights will land at Kulhudhuffushi Airport instead of Hanimaadhoo.

Hondaafushi Island Resort is located in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. Frequent flights on Thursday & Sunday early mornings (around 3:00 AM) depart from Trivandrum International Airport to Hanimaadhoo International Airport travel with a travel duration of 1 hour 15 minutes. The resort will organize guest pick-up from Hanimaadhoo Airport to the resort (approx. 10 minutes by speed boat - Dhoni). The resort is situated 40 minutes away from Male International Airport and guests can arrive here by a flight provided by Island Aviation Service, followed by a 10-minute boat ride. The Island environment is as nice and laid back as it looks. Give yourself a chance to be free with the island soul and expel the anxieties and stresses you left behind.

To upgrade to a Deluxe Bungalow (Beach- D unit) through the resort, there is a fee applicable, however the meal plan charges are the same. Guests cannot bring food or drinks to their rooms. If the transfer service provider fails to transfer guests, the resort will not be responsible for lost nights or overnight accommodation in Male or any other place, regardless of the reason.

Getting there

The nearest Airport is Male International Airport. From Male Airport, guests should take a domestic flight to the Hanimaadhoo Airport, which is about a 50-minute flight. The resort arranges transportation from the Hanimaadhoo airport to the resort by speed boat, about a 15-minute ride. Maximum luggage weight is 20kg per person, and excess luggage will cost US$5.00/kg, payable directly to Maldivian Airways at check-in.
