From Auckland take State Highway 1 south to Tirau. From Tirau take State Highway 5 to Rotorua. At the junction turn left and travel minutes around the lake through Ngongotaha and Hamurana villages. Look for the Marama Resort sign. Worldmark Resort Rotorua is approximately 16km from Ngongotaha. Total travelling time is 3.5 hours.
