The cottages are perfectly positioned to visit the Craggaunowen Castle & settlement (3km away) and then another 8 miles (13km) to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.

Getting there

Take the M50 then the N7 for Limerick.Staying on the N7,pay attention to a sign for Killaloe turning to the right.Take that road for 3 miles until the towns of Ballina and Killaloe.Go across the single lane bridge over the river Shannon and turn right,then follow the road beside the lake up to Tuamgraney.When you reach Tuamgraney turn left onto the Ennis road R352.Pass through a small village-Bodyke- and you will begin to see signs to the right for Tulla, stay on the main road for Ennis.Pass a garage to your right-Kelleher Motors-take the next turn to the left after that.We are approx a mile and a half down that road.Stay on the straight road just follow it around the turns and pass Gorteen Farmhouse, pass the next house on left (a white farmhouse and yard) and we are next on the right.
