Two of the best ski areas, Treble Cone and Cardrona, are a short drive away. Or take a breathtakingly beautiful helicopter ride from the helicopter pad. From rafting and jet boating, to waterskiing and trout fishing, Wanaka becomes a huge aquatic playground.

Smoking Restrictions : No smoking in units: could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.

General Urgent Information
The manager is on-site Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Contact the resort in advance if you will arrive outside of these hours. The playground is closed due to health and safety concerns and will not reopen at this time.
The Edgewater Resort Hotel has wireless internet facilities in each unit. You will require your own personal device and a code will be supplied at check in which allows 1GB free per day per device. If you require more data this can be purchased from reception for a minimal cost.

The nearest international airport is in Christchurch about 5 hours away by car. Fly from Christchurch to Wanaka or fly to Queenstown and drive to Wanaka on Hwy 6 about an hours drive away or bus transfer to Wanaka. The resort is located 3kms from Wanaka on Mt Aspiring Road.
