If you love the great outdoors, magnificent landscapes and panoramas, towering
mountains and tumbling waterfalls, teeming wildlife and gentle flyfishing, picturesque villages and down to earth people, Mpumalanga is your kind of place.

Waterval Boven perched on the edge of the escarpment has some of the best fly fishing in the country in well stocked dams and the Elands River. If you don’t catch a fish, enjoy one at the Tickled Trout or Whistle and Trout.

The Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world and the largest green canyon on planet earth and Bourkes Luck Potholes are popular. Don’t forget to take a look through God’s Window too.

Some of the country’s most established endangered species breeding facilities are near Hoedspruit, where you can see rare king cheetah and visit a vulture restaurant. The Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga's flagship reserve and a world wildlife icon, is the size of a small country and home to thousands of different birds and animals that live across diverse eco zones. Golfers can play a round on the Skukuza course and may even be joined by a few giraffe or warthogs watching their game.
