The inland town of Montagu is home to Avalon Springs, a Mecca for water enthusiasts. Bursting from a fissure in the rock face, in a cavern some 5 meters underground, these waters come to the surface at a constant 43ºC. This natural perfection allows Avalon Springs to pump the water directly into the various available pools and spa baths. The quaint self-catering apartments are well equipped with air-conditioning, microwave, stove and cleaning service. The apartments may seem a little small, but lack for nothing in comfort and service.

About the resort: The resort offers 24hr reception and daily cleaning, including laundry and valet service. Facilities include mini golf, darts, table tennis, bar, masseur, games room, pool table. There is a kiosk on site, as well as outdoor and indoor, hot and cold swimming pools, aviary, braai facilities and on site rock climbing. Unit information: Heaters in all units.
