The Blue Marlin is situated on KwaZulu-Natals popular South Coast, just 40 minutes south of Durban. Nestled in sun-tropical gardens with a sparkling pool and an ocean view to take your breath away, the Blue Marlin is one of those excellent family hotels where guests intermingle and return year after year.

About the resort: The hotel is about 800m away from the beach and overlooks Scottburgh main beach. Meet new friends in the Ibis Bar and experience exceptional service at the Lighthouse Restaurant. As this is a hotel, there are no self-catering facilities although there are coffee and tea making facilities in each room. There are discounted meal packages available for timeshare guests at the resort. Please enquire at reception for prices. Unit information: Double beds have been placed in the 0/02 units. Should you require twin beds, please contact the resort. Family rooms (0/04 sleepers) are comprised of one double bed in the main bedroom and bunk beds in an inter-leading room. Attractions: Features also include a swimming pool, games room and kiddies playground. There is also a curio shop, hairdresser and beauty salon on the property. There is a Tourist Information Centre situated at the hotel with travel and tourist info on KwaZulu-Natal. Various trips and tours can be arranged through the hotel (please enquire at reception). There is a daily entertainment programme and a kiddies programme in season. The dress code for dinner is smart-casual, no shorts allowed. In the area, there are four superb golf courses within 10km. Visit the crocodile farm nearby or go surfing and fishing at Scottburgh beach. Experience excellent diving off Aliwal Shoal in Umkomaas, just 10km away. The town of Scottburgh provides access to shopping facilities, bowls, tennis and numerous restaurants.
