Resort Important Information** PLEASE NOTE: The resort is NOT wheelchair or handicap friendly, as there are many stairs. ALL units, including ground floor unit are only accessible by either climbing up stairs or going down a flight of stairs. Therefore this resort is STRICTLY NOT SUITABLE for the elderly, people experiencing walking disabilities or people that are in a wheelchair. The Resort is also situated 800m away from the beach, up a hill.**
* Your exchange is strictly not transferrable for commercial gain and should you use your exchange for such purposes, your RCI membership will immediately be cancelled without any booking and membership fee refund.
* Resorts require a Confirmation or Guest Certificate upon check-in along with proof of Identity.
* For your safety, a security guard will be patrolling the beach area in front of the resort between 8am and 5pm.
* There is security on the resort permises after-hours.
* Please contact the resort if you will be arriving after 17h00 to arrange for your keys.
* No breakage deposit will be required on checking in. Should there be any breakages or items missing, payment will be required on or before departure.
* Wifi is available at reception for a fee. Signal is available only on the patio's and balconies at the units.
* Cellphone signal in the Illovo beach area is very poor.
* Please bring your own swimming towels.
* Please DO NOT feed the cats.
** Please note: Due to the size of the resort - no group bookings are permitted.
** Please note: Strictly one covered parking per unit, guest are to notify the resort prior to arrival should they require additional parking. The resort only has very limited additional open parking bays.**

** Please note: In an effort to save water, all VMS managed resorts have implemented various water saving measures. Your assistance with adhering to these measures is appreciated, and thank you for your understanding and committment to preserving this precious resource.
For a weekend reservation (Friday to Monday), no linen and towel changes are done during the stay.
For a midweek reservation (Monday to Friday), no linen and towel changes are done during the stay.
For a full week reservation (Friday to Friday), no linen change is done during the stay.
For a full week reservation (Friday to Friday), the towels must be changed on Tuesday (or day 4 of the reservation).
For a booking longer than seven nights (a full week and a weekend or more), the linen will be changed once during your stay.
Should a guest request a linen or towel change, this may be done at a surcharge of R200 per set of linen and R200 per set of towel change.**
** Please note: Please adhere to the Smoking Regulations of the resort. Smoking is not permitted in the units at all, this includes the patio's and balconies. Should guests be found to smoking, a R1000 fine will be charged.**
** Please note: The resort charges a R3500 CASH breakage deposit through out the year for any guests checking in who are there without parent supervision.**
** Please note: The resort will no longer allow occupation for students during weeks 47,48, 49 even if they are accompanied by an adult aged 21 and over. **
** Please note: The UGU Municiple area is experiencing issues with the water supply. Please bring your own drinking water.**
** Please note: The resort wants to ensure the best holiday experience for all guests, now and into the future. While they endeavour to keep disturbances to a minimum during any construction and improvement phases at the resort, apologise in advance for any inconvenience that such activities may cause you during your stay during 2024.**
